absolute must visit cafe for home baristas and coffee enthusiast. ive shopped coffee gear at this website and the retail store cafe was worth the trip. you have a wide variety of coffee tools to enhance your home cafe or even actual on shift coffee workflow. their collab beans with dak is an absolute must try. i had the latte with oat milk and it was absolutely goated drink.

Eight Ounce Coffee is an expansive shop just Southeast of downtown Calgary on Blackfoot. They offer a diverse and wide range of coffee equipment for all tastes and budgets. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who gave me a tour of their research facility and their warehouse. I was also given a lot of very useful information about the pour over and various filters. Finally, I was offered a tasting at their space where they make brews for the public. It was an incredible afternoon and I was able to find some pieces that I needed as well. Amazing stop for the casual or serious coffee drinker. 5 x

I decided to stop by their location to purchase the Roest L100 Plus. During my short visit, I was warmly greeted with coffee and assisted by two employees who made the purchasing process very easy and seamless. After the purchase, I realized I had used the wrong credit card. I gave them a call, and it was resolved within a day. It’s very rare to find a company these days that is both professional and generous. The employees at Eight Ounce Coffee made my experience truly unforgettable. I would recommend them to anyone.

An addition to our specialty coffee go-to’s list in Calgary! The cafe is of exceptional quality with rotating espresso options, and a large selection of pour overs to pick from as well. The shop has coffees imported from all across the world with surprisingly recent roast dates. Barista supply is also quite extensive - good place to take a look at the Weber grinders! Highly recommend a visit for any coffee connoisseurs

I had a great experience ordering online from Eight Ounce in the US. Their offerings allowed me to try several European roasters at a much more affordable price than if I had ordered individually from each roaster. If it weren't for Eight Ounce, trying any one of these roasters would have been cost-prohibitive due to shipping prices to the US from Europe: Tim Wendelboe, Coffee Collective, DAK, Manhattan. Instead, I got to try all of these roasters for a very reasonable price, with prompt shipping to the US, and all beans arrived with <4weeks of rest (very fresh)! A lot of these beans benefited from ~4-8 weeks of rest, so it was perfect for me. I have since worked my way through each of the bags of beans and these were some of the most memorable coffees I've had all year. I got a mix of nice and clean washed coffees, as well as some of the most funky coffees I've had, e.g., DAK Cream Donut. I look forward to making another order from Eight Ounce so I can try even more worldwide roasters.

Incredibly grateful for the top tier customer service here. I made a purchase online with intention to pick it up from the storefront. Due to medical reasons, I couldn't pick up the order within the intended timeframe. Jess was able to help and accommodate me, sorting out the concern and making sure I got my order shipped instead (within 2 days!) I'll also add that I've looked at a number of their products online and the prices are often lower than most other shops in regards to the same product. The selection is great, the sales are actually sales, the descriptions of items are also detailed so you can make an informed decision for your purchase. Very happy customer!

After ordering items online I have finally been able to visit in person while visiting Calgary. Well worth the visit. The staff are exceptional. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! The coffee bar has choices that you don't see in your usual coffee shop or Starbucks such as a coffee flight or a nice pour over with a tiered list of coffees to choose from. Definitely a destination for the coffee enthusiast or someone who wants to dive deeper into the coffee world and expand their horizons as to the true diversity that exists in the world of bean varietals, roasts, and styles. Definitely worth a stop, in person or online.

I stopped in just to grab a bag of beans and left with a complete espresso setup—including the incredible Lucca M58! From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The customer service team (special thanks to Jess and the logistics crew), the baristas, and especially Felipe went above and beyond. Felipe’s expertise stood out—he walked me through the machines, answered every question, and even arranged a next-day demo in their lab. No pressure, just genuine knowledge and passion for coffee. In the end, I didn’t just buy a machine—I upgraded my entire setup with SSP burrs, Weber baskets, a shaker cup, flow control valves, and of course, some amazing beans. Shipping all the way to Nova Scotia was seamless, and the whole process felt effortless. If you’re feeling lost in the world of espresso or coffee gear, Eight Ounce is the place.
